FedEx SmartPost is a hybrid service for the last-mile delivery of shipments via USPS. FedEx usually delivers the parcels to the nearest post office, from where USPS completes the delivery to the last mile.
This service is less expensive than FedEx Ground but can add two to four days. Tracking information is available, but there is no guarantee of service.
